Praise God – Answered prayer at a cafe

Praise God! Another answered prayer at a cafe tonight.

So tonight, I’m meeting w/ this pastor that just got back from Germany and another brother in Christ.  We’re discussing an upcoming prayer meeting he is putting on at MSU (this Sat night).  We spent a lot of time praying over the meeting.  We went over Matthew 18:19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

We also compared John15:7 and Gal5:24 (there is a great mystery here to be understood… compare these 2 verses to see..  How do we get answered prayers?  Pray through the fruit of the spirit and not of self, which should be crucified on the cross…  Then we pray in accordance to His will automatically as it is He praying through us, through the Spirit).

We stood in agreement on the Father’s will, that those that are lost come to the meeting… That repentant hearts are stirred up.  That His Will is done… That those He would like there show up… That He fills the prayer meeting.. fills our churches…

Honestly, I didn’t have much faith in a good attendance at the sat night prayer meeting..  I was a bit worried that no one was going to show up at this meeting because we didn’t get much advertising done while the pastor was in Germany… actually, we really didn’t get any until we showed up at this cafe to meet the pastor… we got 1 flyer up at the cafe 5min b4 the pastor showed up (sorry pastor, if you happen to read this some day, lol).  We fell behind…

But anyways, we were praying and praying for this meeting…  while we were praying, there was a large table next to us.. maybe 10-15 guys.  I didn’t pay attention to their conversations or anything as we were praying in the spirit.  We got done, and started to leave at the same time this large group of men started to get up..  we all stood at the same time.  Separately, but at the same time, I felt compelled for a sister sitting alone at a table, looking like she’s waiting for someone…  she was there for around 10min by herself.  I reached into my bag, grabbed a random track.. that said “Somebody loves you…” with hearts all over it.  I felt it was perfect.. I hand it to her.. tell her to have a good evening.  I turn around to see the Pastor now talking to a young man from that table of men.  I walk up, and they’re talking about the prayer meeting..  The young man points to one of his friends “My friend here is a campus pastor, let me introduce you..”

I laugh…shake some hands..  Praise God as I see answered prayers unfolding..  I leave with praise on my lips..

How amazing is He?
