Faith Calms the Storm

The current guidance from God is continuing down the same path today. The overall message is: being conquerors, in-Christ, through whatever storms we may be addressed with. Quenching the fires, calming the storms, winds, and waves of life. Lord, thank you for being you and fulfilling your promises. Thank you for being trustworthy and faithful to your Word. As it is written, you cannot deny yourself, your Word, your promises… Praise the Lord my Rock! In your name Jesus, Amen.

Whenever I diligently seek after His guidance, He rewards as He says in Hebrews. Praise God Almighty –

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

This testimony of God answering prayers for guidance started in yesterday’s post, Jesus Quenches the Fire. In this post, Faith Calms the Storm, God is continuing this guidance. I know He has revealed this same lesson in the past, and here I am again. Learn the lesson or retake the course Joseph! It can get frustrating sometimes to repeat these lessons because I just want to walk in what He shows, 100% of the time. Tiller of the hearts, please prepare my heart so that your precious seeds can be planted on fertile soil, never to be stolen, never to fade.. Help me with constant ministering. I need continual Food, Light, and Water for the increase Lord. I pray for the increase that you promise. Help me Helper. Help all of us. Your Word says that it will not return to you void and it will do what it is purposed to do. I take my claim as a joint heir in-Christ and not only for myself, but for any saints that you have guided to this post, in Jesus name. Amen

Jesus Quenches the Fire

The current state of my being here on earth is going through another trial by fire that Jesus can quench if I surrender to Him. Either I will dwell on my own reasoning to get through this or I can go to God Almighty. In the former, I will basically act as a god and determine the path for this temple. Thus, I quench the real Spirit and accept a focus of self. In the latter, when the tables are turned, I will quench the self and allow the true God into this temple for guidance, Jesus Christ.

This testimony is about getting out of myself, turning to God, and then witnessing God’s guidance in this fiery furnace. Deliverance is around the corner because Jesus is the Living Water that quenches the fire of the enemy. I pray this blesses you, in Jesus name. Amen –

Moment of Choice

Within this mind, I see a few things taking place. First, there is the old man’s ways before accepting Christ into my life. The old habits, thought patterns, etc. The old identity’s thought patterns resurface at times. Such thought patterns always align with things of the world that were taught through societal influences such as family, friends, tv, etc (the fallen world through Adam). These thought patterns are a result of what the world molded me into thinking. They are me, my ideals, the flesh, habits, etc., but the root (the molder) came from things other than God.

Then, there is the new man, the new nature from being born again in Jesus Christ. Their are thought patterns which are in-line with the mind of Jesus Christ (the Word, Sword of the Spirit, etc). These new thoughts are righteous, good, and align with the character of God. It truly is the Word of God, Jesus Christ’s teachings, the Spirit’s unction, etc. These thought patterns are a result of what God molds. They are Him, His ideals, the Spirit, new habits, etc. and they come from God’s molding.

Lastly, there are outward things that come from situations, people, etc. These outward things will either line-up with the old nature or the new nature in-Christ. They end up being an influence on things of the world or things of God.

Thus, with these things in mind, I’m taking a look at the moment of choice. I’m going to dissect the very moment that I decide which thought patterns to choose and deny. At the moment of choice, one thought pattern is chosen and another thought pattern is denied. Ultimately, either we choose God and deny ourselves (the old man, the world’s ways, etc) or we choose the ways of the world and deny God. I pray the blogging of such will bless you in some fashion or another. In Jesus name, amen –

Out of Season

I’m currently out of season. That Spiritual emptiness is upon me and I need to seek Him out. I have no interest in reading the word or prayer. This is a dangerous place to be.. been there, done that. That’s when the walls of our protection start to crumble and the enemy starts to hammer in. I covet your prayers.

The enemy is attacking, always. He is trying to deceive me in many aspects of my life. I don’t want to go to church… I don’t want to pray… I don’t want to read the word… I don’t want to blog… I don’t want to go to bible studies… So what do I do?! What is the best avenue to take? Do I obey what my flesh is saying? The past has taught me to put to death the deeds of the flesh and to press in. So here I go.. pressing in Lord –

Give Thanks in Everything

Since I know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose, then I would like to give thanks in every thing. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning me. (Romans 8:28, 1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Psalms 43

After looking at Psalms 43 this evening, something popped out of the scripture for the first time. It seems to me that these few verses are a prayer, and then God’s revealing light that showed David the answer to his prayer. This is how it spoke to me today. I pray this posting on Psalms 43 blesses you, in Jesus name, amen.

Testimony of God Providing

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

I can’t use that verse enough. Praise God. Blessed be the Lord God who provides. Here is a testimony of God providing needs through the Body of Christ. Even though I was able to take care of these things on my own, God still worked through others. Praise God, thank you Jesus. Adonai-yireh! God is good. I pray this blesses and encourages you, in Jesus name. Amen –

New Laptop from God

The first testimony of God providing is a new laptop. My laptop has hung in there for a while. It has a broken hinge and a lose wire some where on the inside that caused the screen to go black once in a while. One day, as I was meeting with a brother in-Christ, he accidentally hit my laptop screen and it slammed down. He thought he broke it, lol. I told him about the hinge and we laughed. He said, “I have a feeling the Lord will provide a new laptop in your future.”
