Praise Him – Answered prayer

Praise Him! A quick turn around Lord, thank you for the answered prayer.

I was invited to a bible study on 9/22 and I originally accepted.  On 9/23, I emailed Tim the following – “Tim, I was compelled this morning to spend time in prayer on this before acting.  Let me get back to you as soon as I hear back from Him.  ”

I was feeling like I should have checked w/ the Lord first.  I wasn’t sure if this is where He wanted me and if this was someone He wanted me to learn from.  I prayed and asked the Lord to guide me on this..

9/24 – During my normal daily bible studying, I was studying John 15 – the True Vine.  While searching out verses related to the word “vine”, I was guided to Jeremiah – Jer 3:¹⁵And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Praise God for the answered prayer.  Study is on Monday, with an expectation that I will hear from the Lord.  Praise Him. Blessed be the Lord.

Revealing our Blessed Helper

I have to reveal this because He has told me to reveal.  These things happen often w/ the Lord and this posting shows how the Lord can work in our lives when we surrender to Him.  We will see Him working, but we can only see this if we look! Rock of Ages

At Church, the praise and worship team, in the nearly 1.5yrs I’ve been going, have never used our hymn books.  We have used them in other occasions, but we have never used them Sunday mornings because the band sings other songs.  This past Sunday, their last song, they asked us to pull out our hymn books to hymn #465: Rock of Ages.

Balloons from the Lord

I met a homeless family this week, and after noticing they were Christians, I let them know I’ll be praying for them.  As I said this, I was looking into the eyes of one of the children and I could see/feel the worry in her.  The other older child also had this look.  It cut through to my soul.  Last night, I asked the Father to use me today in order to bring a smile to the faces of the children.  I prayed and asked for Him to show me a way.  I was thinking maybe candy or something, but I didn’t know, and left it in His hands to work through me.
