Satan can Appear as Light
Satan can deceive as Light
Lately, I have come across some articles, sermons, and scripture that shows some very serious stuff going on out there. Brethren, please be very wise and examine with the Word of God as your guide. This is the best way to put this: If we are in a Church where we are hearing the things the flesh does not like hearing, but it is something we need to hear spiritually, then we are in the right place. If we are hearing things that appease the ways of the flesh and make us feel warm and fuzzy, we should be watchful and pray as to how we should proceed. Here’s a video talking about this Emerging and Progressive Church, as well as a good writing from a brother in-Christ over at the Anointed Place blog. God be with you, in Jesus name, amen –
Keep It Simple Servant
Keep It Simple Servant – Boy, do I over complicate things. Faith and obedience, it’s really that simple, servant!
Obedience as a servant takes action – Moses, strike the Nile with your rod. Raise your rod Moses. Strike the rock with your rod Moses. March around Jericho 7 times and shout. Lepers, go show the priest you are healed. Pick up your mat and walk. Keep it simple servant – Have faith and choose God (servant), hear His word, then take an action in obedience. Simple enough, right? It only gets complicated after my ideas start to get involved. I end up trying to figure things out myself (Proverbs 3:5-8). When I do this, I have walked right into the war zone, Spirit vs Flesh. Keep it Simple Servant –
Followup – God helps those that help themselves
I received a question on the post from yesterday (God helps those that help themselves) and I would like to share the question and my response. If the Lord speaks to you on this matter, by all means, please jump in –
God helps those that help themselves
2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
In my humble opinion, the phrase ‘God helps those that help themselves‘ is a lie from man. For me, it is no different than these other phrases that are used to tickle the ears of the flesh: God hates sin but loves the sinner, God just wants me to be happy, God created it, so it must be good, I’m not hurting anyone so it is ok, etc.
I blogged a little while ago on a post called: Who is God? It’s a quick read if you have a moment. The context is about not leaning on our own understanding of God, but to lean on who God says He is. There is a lot of deception out there by man and even our own thoughts and reasoning can deceive ourselves. We should be very thoughtful, wise, and watchful so that we do not allow our understanding of God to trump His Truth. We should examine everything and place every thought into captivity.
In this post, I’m going to discuss why ‘God helps those that help themselves’ is a deception –
The Lord will Provide
For anyone following what the Lord was teaching me over the last week, along with a testimony or 2, you’ll see how today’s sermon at church was the Lord slam dunking the teaching home. Just wow… God is so amazing… the Lord surely Provides.
If you haven’t followed, I recommend checking out Unity and Oneness with God and the testimony about Jesus being the Doorway, starting off with this one: Testimony – Jesus is the Door –

Unity and Oneness with God
The Lord and I did a bible study this morning at an assisted living retirement center. As I readied myself, I worried about not having a message. The Sword of the Spirit: “Don’t worry, I will put words in your mouth.” So I prayed. As I started prayer, the verse that has been speaking to me the last couple of days (see here and here) was on my lips:
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
I can not stress the power behind this verse enough. My entire lesson this week has come full circle and the Word has now exploded. Check this testimony/teaching out –

Mind Games and Emotions
I’m going through the fire right now and will reveal our blessed Helper and Savior Jesus Christ pulling me out of this pit as it happens. Oh the mind games and emotions..
At this very moment, emotions are overcoming me. Emotions of sadness, confusion, a sinking feeling inside, worry, anxiousness, etc. I’m near tears. Alone. My thoughts are spiraling out of control. Emotions are taking over and they are feeding more thoughts. Snowballing is in motion…
2 minutes ago, I was typing a blog titled: “I need prayer.” Then the first sentence came out, “I need help, I am sinking.” As I typed those words, the Sword of the Spirit came to mind – “Life and death are in the power of the tongue.” I said it, so I have it. What do I believe?? Then He said: “Remember!!!”, and I started to remember the things of our Teacher that He taught me about these mind games and emotions. WHAM! Eyes opened. Hello Satan. I’m under attack. To the Word I go –
