Beware of the Philosophy from Man
During the past few weeks, the Lord has consistently brought across my path a common theme – Beware of the Philosophy of Man. In this context, the term “man” is defined as the ways and ideas of the world. The flesh. It can also be defined as the ways of our own thoughts, which are stemmed from the fleshly nature of man, i.e. self-reasoning.
Here are the main verses that He has placed upon my heart. There is much food for the soul in these verses, I pray for eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to receive.. in the name of the Lord our Righteousness, Jesus Christ, amen –
Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Jesus Quenches the Fire
The current state of my being here on earth is going through another trial by fire that Jesus can quench if I surrender to Him. Either I will dwell on my own reasoning to get through this or I can go to God Almighty. In the former, I will basically act as a god and determine the path for this temple. Thus, I quench the real Spirit and accept a focus of self. In the latter, when the tables are turned, I will quench the self and allow the true God into this temple for guidance, Jesus Christ.
This testimony is about getting out of myself, turning to God, and then witnessing God’s guidance in this fiery furnace. Deliverance is around the corner because Jesus is the Living Water that quenches the fire of the enemy. I pray this blesses you, in Jesus name. Amen –

Growth
Growth has also been coming up a lot lately. Today, 3 separate situations touched on this topic, thus I felt compelled to jot some of it down. I pray that this speaks to someone who may be stuck or needs some guidance. Here’s some notes from a separate Journal I have going. Bless you – Read more…
Trials and Tribulations – Count it all Joy
James 1:12
“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has
stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised
to those who love him.” James 1:12
I find that when outward situations arise, if they are viewed from the eyes of the Spirit, things are Counted as all Joy. Read more…
Wisdom and Choice
Choose wisely students of life! “Learn the lesson or retake the course, it’s that simple.” – Nate Elarton
Wisdom and Choice – We desire to grow in understanding life, but our mind’s eye needs new glasses – the scales need to be removed. I urge any seekers of truth to be watchful, pray, take your time, do not trust yourself, and examine everything. When I say do not trust yourself, I say it for very good reason. Allow me to explain –
Justification of thought
I give glory to God for all gained knowledge. Earlier in my walk, I always talked about things I have discovered, done, etc. Or things that people have shown me. Now when I look back at some of my earlier posts, it was God doing it all along. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one
can boast.” Praise the Lord. Read more…
