Choosing Freedom over Slavery

freedom from slavery

Choosing Freedom over Slavery is a follow-up to: Afraid of the Unknown. Am I a slave to sin or a slave to righteousness? We ultimately will serve one master, God or the god of this world, Satan. This has been a common theme of teaching in multiple studies over the past few weeks – Choosing Bondage or Choosing Freedom in Christ. Choose wisely student of life!

Signs from God

Sighting of God

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Here is a testimony with Signs from God. Lord, thank you for the blessings, the signs, testimony, and means to witness.. and thank you for the means to share. I pray that this encourages and helps the faith of many. In Jesus name I pray, amen.

Blind Step of Faith

step of faith

During my journey with the Lord, I have witnessed believers guide me and other members of the Body to take a blind step of faith in situations where God’s will is unknown. This is what I call a blind faith. I would like to give my own guidance on this topic because I see a great error in the use of the statement “Step of Faith.” Please, I covet additional insight on this topic as well (Updated: The Lord has taught me more on this topic. Please see the new post, Walking in Faith) –

Afraid of the Unknown

The Lord God revealed to me that I am afraid of the unknown in-Christ. God, help me in my unbelief. I have had a few dreams that I didn’t understand, but now when I look at them globally, it seems that I am afraid of the path less traveled, the unknown, death to self, complete surrender, etc. If you have wisdom in interpreting dreams, I really could use some help from the Body (especially prayers). I’ll explain each one and what my understanding is. If the Spirit guides you to a different understanding, please, by all means, please jump in or shoot me an email from the contact me form. Lord, help me by sending me an angel.

A dear friend that I worked with for around 10 yrs called me tonight. I haven’t talked to this person since our working relationship ended 2yrs ago. “Guess what Joey, I just got baptized.” Hallelujah! Wow, truly amazing God! Praise the Lord!

Keep It Simple Servant

Keep It Simple Servant – Boy, do I over complicate things. Faith and obedience, it’s really that simple, servant!

Obedience as a servant takes action – Moses, strike the Nile with your rod. Raise your rod Moses. Strike the rock with your rod Moses. March around Jericho 7 times and shout. Lepers, go show the priest you are healed. Pick up your mat and walk. Keep it simple servant – Have faith and choose God (servant), hear His word, then take an action in obedience. Simple enough, right? It only gets complicated after my ideas start to get involved. I end up trying to figure things out myself (Proverbs 3:5-8). When I do this, I have walked right into the war zone, Spirit vs Flesh. Keep it Simple Servant –
