Give Thanks in Everything

Since I know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose, then I would like to give thanks in every thing. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning me. (Romans 8:28, 1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Testimony of Time with the Lord

Here is a testimony I received from a sister in-Christ. God is good. I pray this encourages the Body to trust in the Lord in all things. In Jesus name, amen –

“Normally I have two appointments with God every day. Today I missed my evening appointment and started working on  computer. It did not start. It was fine this morning. I was trying and trying. It did not start. Suddenly..It came to my mind  that I did not meet with the Lord and God is waiting to talk. I stopped every thing and started praising for my day and talked to Lord.

Surprise!! Computer worked right after that. God is never delayed. God is on time and never forgets the given appointment. Also the Lord knows we are weak and forgetful. Yet the Lord is merciful. Thank you my Lord!!”

Praise God, thank you Lord for your testimonies.

Psalms 43

After looking at Psalms 43 this evening, something popped out of the scripture for the first time. It seems to me that these few verses are a prayer, and then God’s revealing light that showed David the answer to his prayer. This is how it spoke to me today. I pray this posting on Psalms 43 blesses you, in Jesus name, amen.

Fundamental Friday – Suffering

Ok, here it is, Fundamental Friday! I just realized I missed last week, oops. This is a topic that has been discussed a few times at different venues over the past couple of weeks. If the Spirit leads, jump on in and let us reason together. God bless you and have a blessed weekend.

Fundamental Friday Question

Do Christians experience suffering, prosperity, or both?

God Guides in Simple Things

Yesterday, I had a conversation with a sister in the Lord. We talked about how God guides in simple things of life. The Lord loves us so much, and wants us to have that constant relationship with Him – To see Him in all things, no matter how simple they are. When we are in a relationship with Him, I don’t doubt for one minute that all things work together for the good. Here is a simple testimony and witnessing of God –

Starting yesterday afternoon, and through the evening, I had a headache. Usually when I have a headache, it’s as simple as being the result of worry, stress, not trusting Him, etc. (Setting the mind on things below). That has usually been where God guides me to examine for resolution. My headaches are usually taken care of by clearing the mind, receiving His peace, and setting the mind on things above. It wasn’t the case yesterday, it was actually more simple than this.

In the evening, I was walking through the kitchen and on my way to bed. The dog stopped and got a drink of water. It is difficult to express that “unction” from God, but I felt God guide me to get a drink of water. I wasn’t thirsty. As I started to grab some water, I thought “huh, I haven’t had any water all day.” As the first swallow was taken, it was as if that gulp directly attacked my headache. It was like a shock wave hitting the headache. Dehydrated.

I finished the glass of water and went to bed. The headache was just about gone as I lay down to sleep. God guides in the simple things of life if I pay attention. When we are in this kind of relationship with Him, whereas we are looking at all things as coming from God, I believe this is ‘pray without ceasing’. Constantly looking to God for Him to guide, talking to Him, asking, interceding, examining ourselves, etc. Jesus said “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.” I don’t think this is something we do once in awhile. :)

So there ya have it. I can’t say that this is how God guides everyone. This is how He guides me in life, if I’m watchful, even in the simple things. Time to go get another glass of water. I pray this blesses you, in Jesus name, amen.

Testimony of God Providing

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

I can’t use that verse enough. Praise God. Blessed be the Lord God who provides. Here is a testimony of God providing needs through the Body of Christ. Even though I was able to take care of these things on my own, God still worked through others. Praise God, thank you Jesus. Adonai-yireh! God is good. I pray this blesses and encourages you, in Jesus name. Amen –

New Laptop from God

The first testimony of God providing is a new laptop. My laptop has hung in there for a while. It has a broken hinge and a lose wire some where on the inside that caused the screen to go black once in a while. One day, as I was meeting with a brother in-Christ, he accidentally hit my laptop screen and it slammed down. He thought he broke it, lol. I told him about the hinge and we laughed. He said, “I have a feeling the Lord will provide a new laptop in your future.”
