Confirmation from God – Sabbath
Praise God for His direction, guidance and confirmations. Blessed be the Lord God. Today, I receive a confirmation from God on the Sabbath. Earlier this week, the following blog was posted about God’s confirmation and direction on the Sabbath, you can see it here: Sabbath and Fasting.
After the confirmation earlier this week, I was planning to honor God’s commandment pertaining to the Sabbath, but it had slipped my mind. Earlier this afternoon, a brother in-Christ called me. This brother calls me maybe once a month, if that. After he says hi and such, guess what he says next? Confirmation –
He says: “Have you read Isaiah 58 brother?” He then proceeds to read 2 of the verses that were posted on my blog earlier in the week about the guidance on Sabbath –
Isa 58:13-14 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: 14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
For anyone following this blog, this is the same brother that I have mentioned a handful of times. Almost every single time he calls me, it’s the Lord guiding him. He has given me many confirmations, words of knowledge, etc. from a phone call out of the blue. One time, I hadn’t talked to him for around 3months.. As I was praying in the midst of a storm, I cried out: “Lord, I need help!” – 15-20 secs later my phone rings.. “Hey Joe, I was just thinking of you..” God, I thank you for this brother in my life. Bless his heart.
Praise God for His confirmations, revelations, teachings, knowledge, wisdom.. Praise God for being the great I AM. Thank you God for your confirmation.. time to honor you and this day you have made for rest. Love you Lord, thank you.
