Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Here is a testimony with Signs from God. Lord, thank you for the blessings, the signs, testimony, and means to witness.. and thank you for the means to share. I pray that this encourages and helps the faith of many. In Jesus name I pray, amen.

When we love God, we draw near to Him.. He draws near to us, and we should know our calling/purpose (if not, then I suggest asking, seeking, and knocking. He surely will answer in His perfect timing). So then, in accordance to His promise in Romans 8:28, it would be wise to put on the eyes to see and pay attention to our surroundings in order to see any signs from God, because all things work together for the good. If we only look at the things of our lives with face value, we can miss the kingdom of God. When we put on the eyes to see (Spiritual eyes), we will see that the Kingdom of God is at hand. Ok, with that said, here is the blessed testimony from yesterday at a wedding, with signs from God. Praise God.

I was asked to be the best man in a wedding yesterday for a brother in-Christ. It was a small ceremony at my local church. I decided to go early, do some reading, and help out my brother get ready if necessary. Before leaving the house, the last thing I did was watch a video on CNN about a fiery whirlwind in Hawaii. Here it is:

While watching the video, I was so amazed at God’s power. A tornado and fire in one. I was in aw of the power of God and thought how small we are in comparison. After watching the video, I went to the church to read. As I arrived, my brother who was getting married was there tuning his guitar. He said “Joe, God is so good. Everything today is going so perfect.” He gave a couple of examples of signs from God, i.e. “I put a new string on my guitar and the string needed no adjustment as it fell perfectly into tune.” I said “Praise God, things cannot help but be perfect in His presence. God is here.” We went to prayer and then I sat down to read.

I just started Ezekiel, and I read.. here is one of many signs from God:

Ezekiel 1:4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

I have learned that these signs of God (coincidences) are alignments of God and the physical world – coinciding with one another, unity, oneness.. So I prayed.. “Lord, I see your sign, your servant is listening. Speak Lord.” Every time this has happened, either He is about to teach me something through an outward situation, via His word, and/or a situation is about to arise where He wants to use me. But, I have also learned to not force things. I just prayed, and then I continued doing what I was doing, reading. It’s good to just relax, have an expectant heart, but to not change our direction. Otherwise, “we” make something manifest and call it “God”. God will work things out naturally and perfectly without our help. :)

After I finished my 3 chapters in Ezekiel, I get up out of the pew and turn around to walk towards the vestibule. Through the window is standing a lady that I haven’t seen in around 2-3 years (I once worked with her). She’s a sister to the bride as well as a sister in-Christ. Signs from God are now manifesting. All things work together for the good.

During our working relationship, we spoke many times about the Lord. She always was so thankful for the encouragement when things weren’t going well in her life. But more importantly, during our working relationship, her son was having many difficulties and she asked me if I would talk to him (young adult). Her son and I had a couple of phone conversations but he wasn’t that interested in talking. Sadly, I have to admit, I eventually let him fall by the wayside. We were both amazed at bumping into each other, and then the Lord smacked me upside the head – “Isaac tried to commit suicide recently.” Lord, forgive me and bless you for your lessons and 2nd chances. In Jesus, amen.

This is so much more serious and in-depth than just this one sign. See, a little while ago, the Lord said to me that He will be bringing people to me. Then, I started to see it manifest. Now, over the past week, He has been teaching me quite a bit about being a shepherd and that I have a responsibility to those that He is sending me. For an example – 2 brothers who have challenges with alcohol missed a bible study last week, but I did not and have not been following up on how they are doing. I was more concerned about my own life and my own desires, thus putting it off. Another example, a brother called me and wanted me to come over and study, but I said declined cuz I wanted to do my own thing. He called me the next morning “Ya, I sinned last night.” These are teachings and signs of God. God forgive me and help me die to self, in Jesus I pray, amen.

All things work together for the good.. I let Barbara know that I would like to reestablish a relationship with Isaac. Also, when I told her about the sign from God and that I had an expectation of something manifesting, she started to cry. “Just recently, I started to lose heart. Back when we worked together, every time I needed encouragement, God sent a word through you to help me. He did it again.” Praise God.

Thus, let me finish this up with a couple more signs of God. Again, He’s speaking to me about shepherding and being responsible to those He sends me. This was being spoken to me via situations over the past week. And the, in the reading of His word of Ezekiel at church, this was the last part of my reading before I stood up and saw Barbara –

Ezekiel 3:17-21 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

Also, when I got home, I called both brothers in-Christ who have been having problems with alcohol. As I was obedient and conversed with one of the brothers, I see the blessings unfold as the Lord gives me words to speak, “You are really speaking to me.. Thank you so much for calling and encouraging me.” Praise God.

As I end this posting, I would like to encourage any readers to examine their lives around them. If you love the Lord and have a purpose, then all things work together for the good. Many (if not all) of the souls the Lord sends us, there is good reason. When I evaluate such this, I see that is is almost always for both our and their individual growth.. It is not just for their personal growth. If we think like that, we’re missing it because we have our own eyes on. Because He works all things together for the good. My biggest downfall is concentrating on my own desires (eyes of self) instead of putting on the eyes to see the Kingdom of God. Even when a situation arises that I choose to get upset with and separate myself from it, then I’m missing it. In such a situation, I’m more concentrated on my feelings, thoughts, and my own understanding, instead of using the eyes He has blessed me with. Thus, we have to continue choosing God instead of self.

Father God, I thank you for your signs and teachings. I thank you for the eyes to see that you bless us with. Lord, I pray for additional watering and fertilizing to take place on this seed so that it may bring forth much fruit for your glory. We thank you for bringing forward the increase… blessed is the Vine Dresser who prunes those He loves. Also Father, we have an enemy out there, just waiting for an opportunity to pounce and steal these seeds out of our hearts. Lord, I pray for protection of the seeds, for them to be written on the tablet of our hearts, and to be deep rooted in fertile hearts. In Jesus I pray, amen.

Keep your eyes peeled servant, the Kingdom of God is at hand. The scales want to come back on the eyes constantly.. be watchful and pray.
