Presence of God at the hospital
Truly a miracle.. the presence of God. This happened to a friend today at the hospital and I have to share it. I think he said it was around 20+ years ago that his dad passed away. He said that at the memorial service, his mom provided bibles to the church in memory of His dad. He also said something about the church giving the bibles away.
Well, my friend is in the hospital.. He calls me from the hospital today, “Joe, this is so weird. My roommate has a bible and it’s from my dad’s memorial service.” Amazing.
I want to share something with you on “coincidences”. Watch closely. The websters definition of coincidence:
1 : the act or condition of coinciding : correspondence
2 : the occurrence of events that happen at the same time by accident but seem to have some connection
Hmm, #2.. “..but seem to have some connection” Let us try to determine where that part of the definition came from. I guess the first logical place to look is in #1 – The act of coinciding. Let us see what coinciding means:
1 a : to occupy the same place in space or time b : to occupy exactly corresponding or equivalent positions on a scale or in a series
2 : to correspond in nature, character, or function
3 : to be in accord or agreement
Hmmmmmm.. Sounds like the presence of God to me. But where did that “..but seem to have some connection” come from? Maybe it came from the -ence. Let’s see what that says:
1 : action or process : instance of an action or process <reference>
2 : quality or state
So as we can see, deception. Instead of people saying “Wow, perfection in nature just happened. ” The word has been turned into a thing of chance.
[…] Natural man’s understanding of coincidences in life are deemed as something of chance, an oddity, happenstance, etc. Man’s understanding of the word coincidence is not based on what the word really means. As we set our eyes on the things that are unseen, we see these things are coincidences if we know the definition of the word. Look at the word coincidence (the root: coincide). The websters definition of coincidence: (also explained in this posting) […]
