Testimony – Jesus is the Door Pt2

This is a follow-up to the blessed revelation from yesterday: Jesus is the Door. He continued to speak to me last night after the confirmation – doors open. (Update: He continued to minster to me on this topic with a physical manifestation. It can be read here: Jesus is the Door Pt3.) Here is His further guidance on the topic. Thank you Jesus –

I covet your guidance, input, prayers and/or any corrections on this topic. If the word of God is misrepresented or something is taken out of context, by all means, I urge the brethren to correct me. I looked at each scripture below and all I saw was this Truth – Jesus is the Door to enable us to walk again with God. Break on through to the other side…

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, Jehovah appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Deuteronomy 18:13 Thou shalt be perfect with Jehovah thy God.

Amos 3:3 Shall two walk together, except they have agreed?

Ezekiel 36:25-27 And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep mine ordinances, and do them.

2 Corinthians 6:16-18 And what agreement hath a temple of God with idols? for we are a temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch no unclean thing; And I will receive you, And will be to you a Father, And ye shall be to me sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own; for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body.

1 Peter 1:13-16 Wherefore girding up the loins of your mind, be sober and set your hope perfectly on the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as children of obedience, not fashioning yourselves according to your former lusts in the time of your ignorance: but like as he who called you is holy, be ye yourselves also holy in all manner of living; because it is written, Ye shall be holy; for I am holy.

Matthew 5:48 Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

The Body of Christ:

John 17:20-23 Neither for these only do I pray, but for them also that believe on me through their word; that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us: that the world may believe that thou didst send me. And the glory which thou hast given me I have given unto them; that they may be one, even as we are one; I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that thou didst send me, and lovedst them, even as thou lovedst me.

I could go on and on and pretty much post the majority of the Word here. Jesus is the Door. Jesus, Spirit, Father… push/pull me through! Paul, help me out here –

Philippians 3:8-17 Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ, and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith: that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death; if by any means I may attain unto the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect: but I press on, if so be that I may lay hold on that for which also I was laid hold on by Christ Jesus. Brethren, I could not myself yet to have laid hold: but one thing I do, forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye are otherwise minded, this also shall God reveal unto you: only, whereunto we have attained, by that same rule let us walk. Brethren, be ye imitators together of me, and mark them that so walk even as ye have us for an ensample.

Jesus is the Door that enables us to walk with God once again in the garden. I’m not fully convinced on sinless perfection and whether it is achievable or not.. but that’s where I’m heading. That’s my goal.

My largest challenge in this areas is basically these 2 things. 1: Jesus said a couple of times, go and sin no more. I believe this was a commandment, not a suggestion. I don’t think He said this with tongue in cheek knowing they could not achieve it. 2: The Bible is our instruction manual, which points to walking with God in Unity and Oneness, in-Christ. Did God give us this instruction manual, again, tongue in cheek, knowing we couldn’t achieve it? Is it merely something to strive towards?

As far as I can tell, the Word gives very little inclination that these things are not achievable. What I see is the contrary, that the Word guides us to such a conclusion. Here and now. If God is speaking to you on this topic, please share the scripture that He’s revealing. Feed me! :)
